
Ingredients
Organic chicken or beef bones from an organic butcher
1 onion roughly chopped
2 carrots roughly chopped
2 sticks of celery roughly chopped
1 parsnip roughly chopped
6 cloves of garlic, skin on, chopped
1 tbsp of whole black peppercorns
2 tsps of organic turmeric powder
2 bay leaves
Handful of parsley chopped
2 tbsps of apple cider vinegar
Method
Put all ingredients in a big soup pot or crockpot. Cover with 4-5 litres of filtered water. The water should cover everything in the pot and bring it to the boil, reduce the heat , then cover and simmer for 12- 24 hours, the longer the better to help draw the glutamine out of the bones. Put through a colander and discard the veggies and cool and put in the fridge or freezer.
